Introduction<\/h2>\n

Getting Started with Team\u00a0Split<\/h3>\n
Timing people is simple with Team Split. \u00a0Refer to the images below, and the associated directions for the details on how to time multiple people.<\/p>\n
First let\u2019s look at the different screens that are available in Team Split. \u00a0You press one of the four\u00a0icons on the button to select the screen that you need to use. \u00a0At any point you can switch between screens without interrupting the other screens. \u00a0For example, you can review the results of another event in the \u201cResults\u201d screen while your stop watches continue to run in the \u201cWatches\u201d screen.

Let\u2019s look at the main parts of Team Split as labeled in the picture above:<\/p>\n

Press here to access the \u201cWatches\u201d screen. \u00a0This is the main work engine of Team Split. \u00a0It allows you to time multiple users at once while keeping track of their splits (i.e., laps). \u00a0You can start all racers at the same time, or you can start them one at a time. \u00a0Racers can be stopped when the finish the event, but they can also be restarted if there is pause or break in the middle of the event that you don\u2019t want to include in their overall time.<\/li>\n
Press here to access the \u201cEdit Watches\u201d screen. \u00a0This screen allows you to assign names to lanes, delete lanes, and more. \u00a0This screen can be used before, during, or after an event is complete, but it only operates on the current event. \u00a0It is also possible to edit an event later in the \u201cResults\u201d screen.<\/li>\n
Press here to access the \u201cResults\u201d screen. \u00a0This is where you can see and share the results from previous events and meets. \u00a0You can also edit the names assigned to lanes, and you can delete old events and lanes. \u00a0Results can be shared in a simple text format, in a CSV spreadsheet, or an Excel spreadsheet.<\/li>\n
Press here to access the \u201cOptions\u201d screen. \u00a0Here you can configure the way Team Split works. \u00a0Also, this screen also provides you tools to send feedback to the Rhine-o Enterprises LLC team, rate Team Split, check the Team Split version, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Watches Screen<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
This screen is the main view for timing the people in each event. \u00a0From here you can start and stop each lane individually. \u00a0Also, you can time individual laps or splits.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at the main parts of Watches Screen\u00a0as labeled in the picture above:<\/p>\n

When a new event is created, you can start all the lanes at one by pressing the large \u201cStart All\u201d button.<\/li>\n
For each individual lane, you can start and stop the time by pressing the small green \u201cStart\u201d button. \u00a0This will turn into a red \u201cStop\u201d button after being pressed. \u00a0 A lane can be started and stopped as many times as desired.<\/li>\n
Similar to the Start \/ \u00a0Stop button, the Split button can be pressed on any lane to create a new split (or lap). \u00a0This can be done as many times as \u00a0is needed.<\/li>\n
Press here to access some other less commonly needed options. \u00a0This includes the ability to stop and start all lanes at once. \u00a0Since the big green \u201cStart All\u201d button is only available before the event has been started the first time, you can use the \u201cStart All\u201d option here to get the same affect later if needed. \u00a0You also have access to create a new Meet, Heat or Event. \u00a0To rename a Meet or Event, you need to switch to the \u201cEdit Watches\u201d screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Edit Watches Screen<\/h3>\n
The next screen in Team Split is the \u201cEdit Watches\u201d screen. \u00a0This screen is where you can set the different properties for the currently running event (or heat within an event). \u00a0Note that you can make changes here while a race is going, and it won\u2019t stop your watches or have any negative affect on your timing. \u00a0This screen is only for the current event, but you can make the same sort of changes to your past events in the results screen.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at the main parts of Edit Watches Screen\u00a0as labeled in the picture above:<\/p>\n

Just press here on each lane to change the first name of the person in each lane. \u00a0This change will immediately be reflected in the Watches Screen as well.<\/li>\n
Just press here on each lane to change the last name of the person in each lane. \u00a0Note that you don\u2019t have to put both first and last name if you don\u2019t want to use a last name. \u00a0In fact, you don\u2019t need to put in either first or last name if you just want to refer people by their lane number.<\/li>\n
Press here to pop up the more advanced options of renaming or deleting the current heat, event, or meet. \u00a0Note that if you want to delete an individual lane, you can do so by swiping from right to left on an individual lane, and then pressing the red \u201cDelete\u201d button. \u00a0This behavior is only available in the \u201cEdit Watches\u201d screen not in the main \u201cWatches\u201d screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Results\u00a0Screen<\/h3>\n
The results screen is probably the most complex part of Team Shake because it gives you access to all your prior meets and the details of the events within them. \u00a0Of course, this excludes any meets and events that you have chosen to delete. \u00a0As a general principle, you access the results of a specific event by first choosing a meet, and then an event. \u00a0Once, you have chosen an event you can drill down even further to see detailed information about the individual laps with an lane. \u00a0Note that within each level, you can press the action button in the top right of the screen to share the results of the meet, event, or lane the you are viewing. \u00a0You can also choose to edit or delete from the action button.<\/p>\n

After choosing a meet you will see the details of when events are within that meet, you can go back to the main results view to pick another meet by pressing on \u201cMeets\u201d in the top left of the screen.<\/li>\n
When you are viewing a meet, just press on any event row to drill down and get more information about the event. \u00a0You can also slide from right to left to delete an individual heat.<\/li>\n
Press the action button to get options to share information about the entire meet. You can also rename or delete the meet from this menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Press the action button to get options to share information about individual event. Also there is an \u201cEdit Lanes\u201d options that gives you the same functionality as the \u201cEdit Watches\u201d screen, but for an already completed event. \u00a0Note that if you have multiple heats, all the lanes for each heat will appear in this view. \u00a0You can also rename or delete the event from this menu. \u00a0Additionally, you choose how to sort the lanes. \u00a0You can sort by name, place (first to last), or by heat \/ lane number (heat 1 lane 1 first, last heat last lane last). \u00a0Note that you can choose in the options screen whether to sort by first name or last name when sorting by name.<\/li>\n
After choosing a lane you will see the details of the splits (laps) within that lane, you can go back to the event results view to pick another lane by pressing on the event name in the top left of the screen.<\/li>\n
Note that you can view a lot of details information about the lane and individual laps, but you cannot delete\u00a0or change the lap or lane information at this time. \u00a0A future version may allow you to change or delete laps to correct mistakes, but that is not currently supported. To change the names associated with a lane, go back to the event page and choose \u201cEdit Lanes\u201d from the action button.<\/li>\n

If enabled, a new meet will be created if it has been more than the set time since the stop of the last event (controlled by \u2018Create New Meets Threshold\u2019)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

Number of hours that must past to auto create a new meet\u201d enterText = \u201cThis is the number of hours that must have passed since the last event to automatically create a new meet. \u00a0The option only has any impact if the \u2018Automatically Create New Meets\u2019 option is enabled\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n

If this is set, this is the maximum time an individual watch can run for a particular event.\u201d enterText = \u201cThis is the maximum time an individual watch can run for a particular event. \u00a0If this is set to blank, or a number less than or equal to 0, then this option has no effect. \u00a0Acceptable values are a number seconds or a stopwatch type value. \u00a0For example, 30 will put a 30 second limit. \u00a02:30 will put a 2 minute and 30 second limit. \u00a02:30:00 would put a 2 hour and 30 minute limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
Maximum Lap Time\n
